BCAS APPROVED OPERATIONS SUPERVISION
Pelican Air is a BCAS approved auxiliary service provider.
Co-ordinate with GHA for:
- Safe operations
- ULD control
- Pallet building
- Weight & volume Checks
- Liaison with authorities
- Import documentation
- Issuance of Delivery order
- Data capture.
- Improve load factors by working closely with station manager
Import Operations:
- Responding to customer queries promptly and resolving the issues proactively.
- Checking / tallying and filing FFM with local IGM filing service provider once the flight departs origin.
- Updating RCF-NFD-DLV in airline system as per SLA
- Completion of customs amendment formalities without any delay in case of short land/Excess land/Wrongly forward shipment/Commodity Change/Pcs and weight change.
- Once the segregation is completed CAN is forwarded to all customers.
- Collecting and maintain proper accounts of delivery order fees and releasing EDO to customers without any delay
- Supervising offloading and ensuring all cargo is offloaded without damage /discrepancy and handed over to custodian.
- Also ensuring all special cargo are handled with utmost care and handed over to custodian on time
Export Operations:
- Responding to customer query promptly and assisting customers and solving the issues without any delay
- Checking the AWB/HAWB if all details are updated as per airline requirements
- Updating all AWB data in airline system and releasing FWB/FHL as per airline requirement
- Manifesting cargo loading details in airline system with proper SHC
- Updating ULD weights in airline system and releasing to CLC as per airline requirement
- Sending all PRE/POST flight messages as per airline requirement
- Getting customs permission for ULD release permit, Manifest Physical check cargo
Warehouse Management:
- Ensuring 100% pcs / dimensions / weight / Volume / Packing are checked and in case of discrepancy noted and informed to airline.
- Assisting in collection of docs and scanning of cargo as per load plan
- Supervising loading and ensuring ULD serviceability is checked.
- Supervising & Ensuring cargo is loaded as per booking list and loading is done as per Airline CHM.
- Obtaining customs permission and releasing of ULD to bay on time after checking ULD air worthiness.
- Weekly inventory is taken and same is tallied with airline system stock and updated in system
- Ensuring station ULD stock is maintained and excess ULDs are planned as stack to HUB.
